Magnetic Push Latch

Magnetic push latch also known as a push-button door opener, "touch-and-open," or "press-and-open" mechanism, works like this:

1. Opening the door: Press the door with your hand. The internal spring mechanism releases the latch, allowing the door to spring open slightly using the force of the hinges. You can then manually open the door fully.
2. Closing the door: Push the door back to its closed position. A slight click indicates the spring mechanism has re-engaged and the door is securely closed.
