Lock & Cylinder

The lock body is the core actuator of the door lock and is a mechanical component hidden inside the door. When we turn it with a key or handle from the outside, it ultimately drives the lock body to open and lock the door.Mechanical lock body: Traditional lock body, completely dependent on manpower through handle and key. 

The lock cylinder is the part of the door lock into which the key is inserted. It is usually a separate cylinder. Inside it is a series of precision pin assemblies of varying heights. When the correct key is inserted, the key's teeth push all the pins into a specific position, allowing the lock cylinder to rotate and drive the lock body to unlock.
